Cant add a tab to my catalog

Hi Amir,

rather than a tab, we suggest you simply to use tags. You would only have to create a tag “Sold” and a tag “Rental”, and set your products accordingly.

I know tags are available for this purpose but why cant i use the tab option which already exist? Can you direct me how to add a tab to a catalog?

Do you mean add a second catalogue? I think we’re not sure about what you mean by tab in this case. Do you mean the icons at the top that switch between the different catalogue views?

To do that, you’d want to go to the “Catalogues” tab in the back end of WordPress, and then use the form on the left-hand side of the page to create a new catalogue. Next, click on the catalogue to go to the page where you can add products or categories of products to a catalogue.

You have one catalog with two tabs. One for business Training and another for internet business training.
I want to have those two tabs into an existing catalog. How can i do that?

Hi Amir,

You would need to put the shortcode for each catalogue into the div’s you’re using to create the two tabs. When doing that, however, you’re going to end up with the product page displaying in the tabs.

It would be much simpler for you to display the two catalogues on separate pages, but if you’d like to make two tabs work and are unable to, you can email us at [email protected] and we can give you a quote for a customization job.
