Can’t activate WordFence

    I can’t active WordFence. I had it running and was getting errors so I deleted it and tried to re-install but now it won’t active, i get this error.

    Fatal error: Call to undefined method DateTime::createFromFormat() in /home/content/d/i/a/dianephoto/html/wp-content/plugins/wordfence/lib/wfAPI.php on line 106

    May I know how did you remove the plugin? from the WordPress Dashboard or using FTP client? make sure all the plugin’s files were already deleted.

    Also, what is the PHP version running on your server?

    I deleted it from the ftp.

    running php 5.2

    Well, “DateTime::createFromFormat” requirues PHP >= 5.3.0, so you just need to upgrade your PHP version to at least 5.6 as mentioned in the plugin’s requirements page, WordPress recommends using PHP 7 or greater as well.
