• Hi, I’m attempting to do a fresh re-install of Webcomic via the admin dashboard – it has installed, but when I try to ‘activate’ it, I get this:

    Fatal error: Uncaught TypeError: Argument 3 passed to Mgsisk\Webcomic\Compat\Upgrade\v3_character() must be an instance of WP_Term, null given, called in /home/kinokofry/kinokofry.com/wp-content/plugins/webcomic/lib/compat/upgrade/v3.php on line 91 and defined in /home/kinokofry/kinokofry.com/wp-content/plugins/webcomic/lib/compat/upgrade/v3.php:129 Stack trace: #0 /home/kinokofry/kinokofry.com/wp-content/plugins/webcomic/lib/compat/upgrade/v3.php(91): Mgsisk\Webcomic\Compat\Upgrade\v3_character(Array, 'webcomic1', NULL) #1 /home/kinokofry/kinokofry.com/wp-content/plugins/webcomic/lib/compat/upgrade/v3.php(50): Mgsisk\Webcomic\Compat\Upgrade\v3_collections(Array) #2 /home/kinokofry/kinokofry.com/wp-content/plugins/webcomic/lib/compat/upgrade.php(27): Mgsisk\Webcomic\Compat\Upgrade\v3() #3 /home/kinokofry/kinokofry.com/wp-content/plugins/webcomic/lib/plugin/globals.php(180): Mgsisk\Webcomic\Compat\v5_0_0('3.0.4') #4 /home/kinokofry/kinokofry.com/wp-content/plugins/webcomic/webcomic.php(36): webcomic_init('5.0.6') #5 /home/ in /home/kinokofry/kinokofry.com/wp-content/plugins/webcomic/lib/compat/upgrade/v3.php on line 129

    BACKGROUND: I’ve been using Webcomic for about a decade or so, but have hardly used my website in years. Recently it was giving me a critical error I couldn’t solve after a WordPress upgrade (I suspect), and I could see there was a a particular issue with Webcomic (disabling it let the basic structure of the website work, but it wasn’t showing any comics/header). I couldn’t upgrade it because I couldn’t access any of my admin dashboard or site while Webcomic was present (un-renamed) within the file structure. I couldn’t find a way around this issue, so I eventually decided to do a fresh reinstall of the latest WordPress and the latest Webcomic plugin, and try to work up from there.

    Thanks for any help!
