Can’t activate Webcomic: Fatal error

Hi, I’m attempting to do a fresh re-install of Webcomic via the admin dashboard – it has installed, but when I try to ‘activate’ it, I get this:

BACKGROUND: I’ve been using Webcomic for about a decade or so, but have hardly used my website in years. Recently it was giving me a critical error I couldn’t solve after a WordPress upgrade (I suspect), and I could see there was a a particular issue with Webcomic (disabling it let the basic structure of the website work, but it wasn’t showing any comics/header). I couldn’t upgrade it because I couldn’t access any of my admin dashboard or site while Webcomic was present (un-renamed) within the file structure. I couldn’t find a way around this issue, so I eventually decided to do a fresh reinstall of the latest WordPress and the latest Webcomic plugin, and try to work up from there.
