Can’t Activate – This Plugin doesn’t have a valid header

Perhaps you tried doing this at the exact same moment we released a new version of the plugin? Anyhow, can you give it another try?

It works from the plugin list screen, but not from the activate button after install

I also got the same error when trying to activate from the “Add Plugins” page –

“The plugin does not have a valid header.”

But it did activate for me from the plugins list page like broksonic described.

Did the both of you upgrade to WP 5.5 already as we suspect it is related to that.

I’m on WP 5.5. The plugin seems to be working normally, its just that it wouldn’t activate from the Add Plugins page but once activated seems fine.

Same here, works fine other than this activation. And yes, you are right – this is on an environment that was upgraded to WordPress 5.5 before I tried to install the plugin.
