Cant Activate The Voting Plugin

    I would like advice or a step by step guide on how to get the voting plugin running.

    I followed this thread but it never worked:
    1. Copy Shauno’s file from https://pastebin.com/ZbcPeGV0
    2. On your host, go to: wp-content>plugins>nextgen-gallery>products>photocrati_nextgen>modules>nextgen_basic_gallery>templates>thumbnails>index.php
    3. Erase contents (not file) of index.php and replace with what you copied from pastebin.
    4. Clear your cache

    I am using nextgen gallery Version 2.0.40 |
    Using the basic thumbnails view.
    And i even purchased the pro voting plugin – still cant work. Premium Version 1.6

    Do you have the free version installed and active?
    Have you enabled voting on the images you want (tickbox on each image from NGG->Manage Gallery->[gallery name])?

    Hey Shauno, I’ve been trying to get this to work also,

    I did the step by step from the OP, but can’t get anything to work. Plugin is active and voting is enabled on both the gallery and the image(s) that I want voting enabled on. I’m just testing right now as the sight is new. Do you think you can look at it and maybe help me out?

    To get to the page where I want voting click on the [Vote Here!] button under the slideshow widget I have made.

    I just figured out what I did wrong. I was adding the pictures with the “Add Media” button instead of thru the NGGallery.

    Did it with the NGGallery button to add photos and the voting option was there.
