Can’t activate testimonial feature in Dara

    A website that I made has the Dara theme (version 1.2.1), and until now I have been using the testimonial feature without any problems. But now, the Testimonial page link results in a “Page Not Found” error.

    The option ‘Testimonials’ has disappeared from the Dashboard Menu. So I tried to re-activate the testimonials feature for Dara. The strange thing is that when I go to Settings –> Writing, I don’t see the heading ‘Content Types’ where I activated the testimonial feature before. The option has just disappeared.

    Does anyone know if Dara has stopped supporting the Testimonial feature?

    Please note that this theme hasn’t been updated in over 2 years. It may no longer be maintained or supported and may have compatibility issues when used with more recent versions of WordPress.

    Are you using Jetpack for testimonial content?
    Is Jetpack set up and connected fully?

    Thank you for your reply. I did see another post on the Dara forum that mentioned Jetpack. It turns out the problem is there; our webhost has disabled XMLRPC features because of insistent attacks. And without it, Jetpack can’t function. So we’ll wait for them to fix that.
