    I’m using WordPress and Really Simple SSL. Once the SSL has been issued (checked and verified), I activate the Really Simple SSL plugin but the site will not display using https:

    This page isn’t working
    https://www.mysite.com redirected you too many times.
    Try clearing your cookies.
    ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS

    I have verified the siteurl and home settings in the wp_options table:

    siteurl: https://www.mysite.com
    home: https://www.mysite.com

    I’m using a standard .htaccess

    # BEGIN WordPress
    # The directives (lines) between “BEGIN WordPress” and “END WordPress” are
    # dynamically generated, and should only be modified via WordPress filters.
    # Any changes to the directives between these markers will be overwritten.
    <IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteRule .* – [E=HTTP_AUTHORIZATION:%{HTTP:Authorization}]
    RewriteBase /
    RewriteRule ^index\.php$ – [L]
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
    RewriteRule . /index.php [L]
    </IfModule>
    # END WordPress`

    At this point, I changedthe siteurl and home values in the database from https to http and manually disabled Really Simple SSL and the site comes back up under http. Once I am able to get back into the Dashboard, I can reactivate Really Simple SSL where it says SSL is activated on your site.

    Any idea what the issue could be?
