Can’t activate firewall hardening, and IP address not blocked

    This plugin is great, firstly, so thanks for that!

    I had a question or two. I’m unable to activate the WAF setting under Hardening Options even though I’ve purchased a license. Why is that? The WAF is active on my site and I can block IP addresses from here (and it’s saved back to Sucuri dashboard).

    Then I’ve blocked an IP address but I can still see their login attempts to my backend – it’s a brute force attack. So I’m wondering whether that’s because the WAF hardening isn’t activated?

    Please help, the brute force attack has been happening for the past three hours.

  • If you are a paid member you can submit a ticket via their website (click Support after you login). You’ll get a faster response submitting a ticket than via this forum.

    From my basic understanding, the WAF should filter traffic prior to that traffic reaching your website – you shouldn’t see the traffic if the IP is blacklisted at the WAF.
