    Hi!

As the topic states, I just can’t get the block editor to appear when adding new events.

I’ve tried inactivating all other plugins and changed to Twenty Twenty theme, but it still only shows the classic editor. The database has been using The Events Calendar for a long time, so maybe there’s something in there messing things up? The “Activate Block Editor for Events” setting is checked.

I’m using WP 5.4.2, The Events Calendar 5.1.4 and The Events Calendar PRO 5.1.0.

When I install a separate vanilla WP installation, with the same versions, the block editor appears.

    Any ideas?

  • Hi simonwimell!
On that website you have, did you install Gutenberg plugin? Or you are using the native “Block Editor” feature that’s bundled with WordPress?

Also, there are many ways to get the block editor disabled, mentioned in this article. Are you sure you don’t have any of them applied on your website?

    Thanks.
