• I’ve got about 12 plugins installed, including one that is supposed to specifically work with 2.0. When I click the “Activate” link to the right of any of the plugins I get the yellow message box at the top saying the plugin has been activated, but the link for the plugin still says “Activate”, there’s no change in the style of the plugin listing, and the plugin behavior is definitely not active on the site. In other words, the plugin is not activated even though I get a message saying it is. I’m not sure how to debug this, since I’m not sure if the all of my plugins are just not compatible with 2.0, or if there’s something inherently wrong with the way I’ve set it up so none of the plugins can be activated…?

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

  • I had the same problem…What I did is follow these steps.
    https://blog.hypercubed.com/index.php/archives/2005/12/26/wordpress-20-fix/
I also did a quick upgrade from RC3 to the final version. I am now able to activate my plugins.

Thanks! I inserted the exit line (already have the final version) and it worked like a charm.

    Thanks again –

cool glad to hear it worked for you.

I have this same problem! Sometimes it worked just by revisiting the page again.

I am having this error, too–

I was so glad to find this post, except that the blog draaku referred to has now been changed–and the Google cache of that page has been updated also.

Does anybody know how to fix this?
    – I’ve deleted and re-installed the whole db and all files.
    – I’ve edited the plugins to remove line-spaces at the end after the closing PHP tag.
    – I’ve closed all browsers and re-opened to be sure I wasn’t caching a page
    – I’ve reloaded all files to the server (3 times) to be sure something wasn’t half-loaded.

    Help??
