Can’t access wp_admin

  • I moved my files from /blog to the root directory. Now I can’t access wp-admin: message, “Error establishing a database connection”.

    I read a lot of posts and tried a few things, but I’m frustrated and confused. Can anyone help me?

    Unless the error message is wp-config.php can’t be found, moving WP should not affect your database connection. You should double check the database connection entries in wp-config.php Also see if any files were set up in non-default locations in wp-config – code for that would most likely be in the lower portion of the file.
