Can't access WP with localhost in Chrome browser

    I have WAMP installed. Green light showing.
    I have WordPress downloaded and copy then pasted in the right folder.
    I have WordPress shown in “my projects” on the localhost page.
    I have established new database with “phpMyadmin”
    When I try to access WP from my Chrome browser (localhost/wordpress/) I get ‘HTTP Error 404. The requested resource is not found’.

    Everything appears to be working otherwise. Can someone please help me out on this one.

    Yes, somehow. I tried it again and it suddenly started working. Have no idea how or what I did but it appears to be working fine and stable. Thanks for getting back to me.
