cant access wp-admin or wp-includes

  • the site https://www.patriklindqvist.com/blog is selfhosted but i cant access wp-admin or wp-includes (its just shortcuts) or any other folders except wp-content via ftp. why could this be?

    also its version 3.1.3 and says its the latest version but it isnt and i cant upload the new version as i cant access admin and includes folders.

    links to posts seems to be broken so maybe something happened to the database but the webhotel says everything is fine (as always)

    i would like to download all files of layout, posts etc to be able to change webhost if that could be the problem but as i cant access all files i cant do this. i have tried to export the site but it seems like all files are not exported to be able to upload to a brand new server…

    please help if anyone has a clue why this happens or what can be done to get this to work.

  • Hi Patrik! Have you had issues with permissions on the account at all in the past? It almost appears to be related to file permissions.

    Hi,

    never had any issues. i installed it clean and i assume it was like this from the beginning. its doing my head in as i have spent so much time to fix with it and now it seems like its a waste of time. thanks for your kind words about my photography!
