• When I visit my site to try and log in https://rebeccakdesigns.com/blog/wp-admin/

I am getting this error message:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_initial_constants() in /home/rebeccak/public_html/blog/wp-settings.php on line 26

This was straight after upgrading to the new wordpress 3.7.1

    when logging into https://www.rebeccakdesigns.com/blog/wp-settings.php
    I get the message

Warning: require(ABSPATHwp-includes/load.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/rebeccak/public_html/blog/wp-settings.php on line 21

Warning: require(ABSPATHwp-includes/load.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/rebeccak/public_html/blog/wp-settings.php on line 21

Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘ABSPATHwp-includes/load.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php’) in /home/rebeccak/public_html/blog/wp-settings.php on line 21

I can not figure out what the problem is. my theories is perhaps after upgrading wordpress automatically or perhaps because my disk usage is almost over with my host but im completely lost for figuring out the problem and have been through all possible forums and googling.
I have also tried to reinstall the wp-admin and includes folders from stratch.

Any advice would be great! thanks ??

  • Using an FTP Tool such as FileZilla, rename all theme folders except twentythirteen (upload it if not there) to old-theme_folder_name and the whole plugins folder to old-plugins.

Now, you will be running a default WP up to date install. From there, you need to troubleshoot the theme (activate after naming back). If that works, it is a plugin. If not, it’s your theme. Rename the plugin folders one at a time and activate one at a time to find the culprit (or combination of them which is causing the issue).
