Can’t access to page editor because it shows a blank page

    Hi everybody!
    In september I fixed some problems on a friend’s website because he developed everything by himself installing tons of plugins which completely crashed the site after a while.
    When I ended deleting some plugins and editing the pages of the web site, everything worked fine as he wanted. He told me he also edited again by himself some pages during past months.

    At the end of December, he wrote me to check again the site because he couldn’t edit the pages because of a problem with the editor. I entered the backend as usual and he was right: the page editor didn’t open at all.
    During that days there was the releasing of the new version of wp, so I thought it was because of that… maybe wp was working slowly, or something similar. And I waited some weeks.

    Now I decided to try again to edit the pages but the editor still doesn’t work! It is very strange, because both if I click on “edit page” or “add new page” the editor doesn’t open at all. All I have is a blank page, without any error message, or advice… nothing!!

    I really have no idea about a solution or what can I do!!! Please, if someone can help me it will be great!!

    It’s not unusual for error messages to be suppressed on production sites. Seeing error messages introduces a security weakness. Either check the error logs or define WP_DEBUG as true on wp-config.php. Restore it to false when you are done debugging. When we know what the errors are, the path to a solution will become clearer.
