Can’t access to admin side, my table is too heavy !!

    Hello everyone

    I use tablepress to publish some data in our intranet, but i can’t access anymore to the admin side when I want to edit my table because there are more than 400 rows and my web browser try to load each one.

    For those who aren’t admin it’s ok because there is pagination, but as admin there is nothing like that, what can I do ?

    thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

    With “access to the admin side”, do you mean any page in the admin area, or do you mean the “Edit” screen of the large table?

    Then, I know what you mean, and I have experienced it myself. Unfortunately, I haven’t found a good solution yet, but I hope to be able to make this better when I rewrite the “Edit” screen in the future.
    Adding pagination is not possible right now, due to how the internal saving process for tables works.

    The problem usually is that the web browser has problems handling the large number of input fields. Some users have achieved a faster performance when using Internet Explorer here (yes, that’s surprising), which presumably has a better management of those input fields.

    A workaround would be to edit the table externally, e.g. in Excel, and then re-importing it from a CSV file, choosing to replace the existing table.

    Yes I mean the edit page of the table when I say I can’t access

    I think it’s the better solution that I have, to edit table with an Excel
