• Everything worked until 2 days ago I can’t access my site. I get the database error message. I have tried some solutions found in search about the config.php file, but I really don’t know what to look for or even know if something looked wrong.
I have become so frustrated with my host I just put up an apology page for my readers. To get to the WP page use the alternate address below, and you will see the error message. The site works with normal pages. It’s a Word Press issue.
    Thank you

https://www.slablog.net/index2.php and https://www.slablog.net both look fine to me. No errors.

Cannot access database is a problem with your webhost not having your DB accessible. if it keeps happening, move to a new host.

They apparently migrated the server over and had a problem with some sites. Now it seems to be working but I can’t get to my remote images folder and list them like I did before. I could simply add the folder name to the end of the address and the images folder would list.

    Ex: https://www.slablog.net/images

Now the folder does not list. It just shows the Slablog web site front page again.

Is this a function in Word Press or possibly the server again?

Unless /images is something you did to move the WP images from /wp-content/uploads, then it’s the server.
