When I try to access the settings page, or the backup page, or any other page, all I get is a front-end 404 error.

I read that it could be an Apache issue, but that was two years ago. I also found a thread that referenced this, but no solution was given.

I also know that it could be another issue.

    Versions
    WP: 4.9.8
    Updraft: 1.15.2

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

Please could you (or your server admin/hosts) check the PHP error logs for the site, for any ‘500’ errors? Could you also ask your server admin if ‘mod_security’ is installed on the server?
It is possible that the actual error is being disguised as a 404 error as a security measure.

The problem was a security feature in cPanel (Immune360) was proactively considering it malicious, so it killed it. I tried adding the file to the ignore list, but it didn’t work. So, changed the settings in Proactive from “Kill” to “Log only.” Problem solved (or at least worked around).
