Not sure when this started, but my clean database button in the admin bar is gone, and the settings link in the Settings dropdown list is also gone. When I try to click on settings from the subsite plugins list, I’m told I don’t have permissions, but the same settings link doesn’t exist in the administrative plugins page for my multi-site setup.

I wanted to check that it was doing it’s job, because for the past few months, every time I make a new post, the site throws a 501 for up to 10 minutes. I just wanted to “clean” the database before bothering my host with the problem, but can’t get to the settings anymore.

    Help?

    Hey songdove,

Try to uninstall my plugin and then re-install it.

Let me know if that worked for you!

    peace,

    Hi Rolf,

I network deactivated, then deleted the plugin, including all files and data. I grabbed a fresh copy through the “Add new plugins” area of my multi-site admin, installed and network activated it. I returned to my active subsite, and still no link to the plugin’s settings under the Settings menu, and trying to click on settings in the plugins area of the subsite claims I don’t have permissions.

    Hey Songdove,

Okay, it’s a network installation. Didn’t realize that.

On a network installation you only can change the settings / run the plugin from the main site, not from the subsites.

However the subsites will be cleaned too.

    peace,
    Rolf
