Can’t access newest posts to use as featured posts

  • I’d like to place recents posts in the Featured Posts bar but I can’t access anything from 2016 or 2017. I’ve been blogging on WP since 2010, so I should have plenty to choose from. How can I select recent posts for this feature?

    That is strange. You can’t access just 2016 and 2017. Are other years available?

    Hello, I’m also having this problem. Only older posts from 2010-2012 are showing up under the featured posts option. Thank you.

    @niiquee It is possible that this is happening because of the sheer volume of the posts that you have and the dropdown control is not populating correctly. Can you send us more details about your website to [email protected] and we can investigate this further for you.

    Or – it could be a plugin conflict. Disable the plugins one by one and see if one of them has an effect. Let me know how it goes!
