    Hi,
I changed our wordpress from .com to .org on 26th March. I was able to access it fine, but today I can’t.

The name of the site is https://www.womenintheservices.com

The .com wordpress site is now set to private so shouldn’t make any difference to any searches for the .org

Thanks for any advice or help.

Just to help further, this is what I get when trying to access my www.remarpro.com site….

?Make sure the web address https://api.viglink.com is correct.
?Look for the page with your search engine.
?Refresh the page in a few minutes.

When you refer to www.remarpro.com site you mean it is selfhosted, right?
Have you tried to add wp-login.php to the end of your site URL?
    https://www.womenintheservices.com/wp-login.php

    Shows up fine for me.

Hi Walter, it’s hosted thru Bluehost. I’ve just clicked on the URL you’ve just given and still nothing.

Both the blog and the wp-login.php link work for me.

When you say it doesn’t work, what exactly happens? Server not found, a big white screen. Might try clearing your browser cache and cookies.

    Hi,
When I click on my desktop link, it’s just a white page for ages with the ‘circle’ going round and round then the message that I copied above appears.
I’ve also tried googling the name and my old .com site shows as listed, but not my new .org

I’ve also tried putting the URL into my address bar manually (instead of desktop link) and still no luck…

It is working for me as well. It seems to be an issue on your end: https://www.isup.me/https://www.womenintheservices.com/

To make sure you can check your website from several locations worldwide using pigdom’s speed checking tool: https://tools.pingdom.com/fpt/

What is your “desktop” link? what is your .org URL?
    I am a bit confused.

I’ve now cleared my cache and cookies and still no luck.

When I say ‘desktop’ link, I mean ‘shortcut’

    the complete URL is https://www.womenintheservices.com/

@silverlady: I don’t have the issue you states above.
Please copy and paste this URL in your browser bar and let me know the result:

    https://www.womenintheservices.com/wp-login.php

Curious, if you ping the site, what IP address comes up?

    >ping womenintheservices.com

Seems like something on your PC isn’t letting it see the site correctly or the internet is broke between you and the site.

Hmm, are you able to see: https://amywasserman.com/ ? It’s on the same server as your site.

Hi again….I’ve tried both of your url’s and neither work for me, so something must be wrong with my computer, although I can get other websites.

My youngest son (with IT knowledge) will be back tomorrow so I’ll see if he can fathom it out for me then. I’ll let you know the outcome and hopefully all will be working and thanks for your help. It’s appreciated.

Just an update onto why I couldn’t access my new wordpress site.

My son had an online chat with Bluehost and it seems they had blocked me!
As they didn’t recognise my IP, they thought because of the numerous times I was logging on to update it, that I was malaware or spam.

I can now log onto it and hopefully it won’t happen again.
    Thanks for your help.
