Can't access my WP

How long ago did you set this up?

Looks like really recently – the domain name takes a while to become functional – shows up as not even registered yet:

https://www.whois.com/whois/happyhealthy365.com

Just now. Within the past 1-2 hours.

Also, what I don’t understand is that I registered & bought my domain happyhealthy365.com with Hostgator, yet if I search happyhealthy365 it still seems available at godaddy & at namecheap…

Clearly I am new to this ??

Okay, so yeah, that’s quite likely why – it can actually take from several hours to a couple of days to get fully propagated across the internet. But HG may be able to give you a temporary URL to use in the meantime, so check with them on that.

You should wait for 24hrs so that DNS will be updated properly or there can be problem with the registrant i was having same issue with my blog last year: Result 2014 it was not updated 72hrs+ becoz of registrant issue. the support team (hostgator) can help you if u face the same issue !

i’ve recently installed WP and cannot login. uninstalled and reinstalled and still no luck . the error notes wrong username and password. any thoughts appreciated? thx

It does look like your domain didn’t get registered.
I’ve come across issues like this in the past where I’ve bought a domain that I Couldn’t believe was actually available. To find out that the Domain Provider had some issues and that it was actually already registered. In your case the domain isn’t registered at all, So I’d go check with GoDaddy to find out whats going on if you’ve already paid for it. They may have had some issues at the time and couldn’t process it.

Also be sure to change your Nameservers to those provided by HostGator.
That will make your domain point to the Hosting account, In the meantime if you have your IP address to the server that you are on, You can use something like this to view your website and make edits.

192.168.1.1/~accountname (Where “accountname” replace with the your username to login to the Hosting Account) This whole link will be your URL to your Website, To Access wp-admin. Use something like this. 192.168.1.1/~accountname/wp-admin/
