Can you try renaming this folder woocommerce-gateway-paypal-powered-by-braintree located within the plugins folder and check if that brings up the dashboard?

Forgot to report that I had already fixed it by renaming the disabling the plugins folder through Hostgator

    Thanks anyway!

    Hey,

Before you activate the plugin (and possibly get the same error) please make sure you update any plugins that need an update! ??

I have the same issue. Latest version of WC (v2.6.3) and Braintree (v1.2.2) plugin. Re-enabling it results the 500 error. I found out that it triggers when WooCommerce plugin is deactivated while Braintree plugin is active (my case is the plugin update process deactivate WooCommerce).

    Hey there!

I can’t seem to replicate that with my site. I have WooCommerce PayPal Powered by Braintree Gateway enabled, and deactivate WooCommerce, and nothing seems to happen.
