Can’t access my site

    I am unable to establish a connection to my site or the admin. I get an err_connection message in Chrome and server has stopped responding in Safari. My hosting site (GoDaddy) has stated it appears to be a WordPress issue.

    Try manually resetting your plugins (no Dashboard access required). If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

    If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel, navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force the default theme to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

    Thanks for your help. In the process of trying some of your fixes we saw some things that made us circle back to GoDaddy as the source of the problem. After 3 hours on the phone with them, they determined that the problem was indeed on their end. Thanks for your responses!
