Can’t access my site

  • Hi! I tried getting in to the live chat area but not sure I was successful. My problem is I am new to this and all of a sudden I can’t access my site https://www.franklin-schwarze.com. I received the following error msg. after uploading a new theme to word press. I have subsequently deleted those files with no success. The error msg is as follows: fatal error: call to undefined function get_header() in /home/getaffcd/public_html/franklin-schwarze.com/index.php on line 1. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Try deleting the new theme from your website using FTP. That will set WP back to the default Kubrick theme. It is quite possible the error is in the new theme.

    If you don’t want to delete it, temporarily move it to a different folder where WP won’t be looking for it, which accomplishes the same. Then you can later move it back if you need to

    I can currently see your site (you are using mushblue theme), if that is still an issue for you, clear your browser cache and try again.
