• HI there

I am having a complete nightmare. I updated to WordPress 4.4 today and it conflicted with my Avada theme (have opened a ticket with them). I tried to deactivate all my plugins one by one when this did not correct the problem (not displaying my blog posts on the home page) and after unistalling the Fusion Core plugin, I’ve been locked out of my site. I can access my old inactive wordpress.com blog dashboard but it won’t let me into my new www.remarpro.com blog – https://www.everynookandcranny.net.

I think I have deactivated my plugins via my FTP manager (but to be honest I don’t fully understand this) as per guidance from WP.org but I still cannot access my dashboard. I really need some detailed guidance or someone to look at this for me please as I have reached my limit of technical abilities several hours ago. I’d really appreciate urgent help as my blog is just a header and some gobbledy gook code now…

Thanks so much for any help that can be offered.

  • You probably need to speak with the developers of the Fusion Core plugin about this. It’s not a plugin that we are familiar with here.

Ok thanks Esmi – could it be that plugin which is blocking my access to the dashboard? Is there anything else I can do whilst I wait for the developers to get back to me?

Since that was the plugin that, when deactivated, locked you out of your site, it seems the most likely culprit, yes. Unfortunately, it’s not a plugin I know anything about, so I have no idea what it does.

Ok thanks again Esmi – I just hope they get back to me soon! This is an utter nightmare…
