• This time I’ve followed the correct procedure from WP.org… I have deactivated all plugins but after installing Jetpack 2.0, both from upgrade or stand alone plugin, I cannot access to the dashboard and the only way to proceed for me is to deleted the jetpack folder from plugins folder with file manager.

Now I am without all the features of Jetpack and I’m seriously thinking to abandon it because this year this unaccessability to dashboard happened a lot of time after jetpack updates!

  • jetpack 2.0 made my site inaccessible as well. The upgrade seemed to be working fine until I activated the forms module in jetpack. Now even when I disable all other plugins and only activate jetpack it takes my site down. Is there a way to deactivate the forms module manually somehow?

Had the same problem. In my case it is a conflict with W3 Total Cache somehow.

I’m done with Jetpack too. Don’t need all the code bloat for a couple of nice to have features.

Really appreciate that Automattic is offering many of their WP.com features to the rest of us. But the whole “one plugin to rule them all” concept isn’t working for me. Would prefer features broken down to separate plugins so we could just install the ones we need/like.
