Can’t access dashboard admin by using contributor role

Users with the contributor user role cannot enter the admin dashboard page.
I use the publishpress capabilities plugin to change some of the capabilities of the user role. In the past, the contributor role user could enter the admin dashboard, but now he can’t.
I’ve tried to check all the available capabilities, deactivate the plugin, restore the oledst backup. But contributors still can’t enter the dashboard and are directed directly to the homepage.
Maybe any suggestions to fix this?
