    Hi there,
    I have just installed this plugin, but I am unable to access the Customize section.

    When I click on Customize, I get this Fatal Error:

    Fatal error: Call to undefined method WP_Customize_Manager::register_control_type() in /[MyFolder]/[MyFolder]/public_html/[MyDomain]/wp-content/plugins/easy-google-fonts/includes/customizer/class-egf-customize-manager.php on line 161

    Looking at line 161, it is written like this:
    $wp_customize->register_control_type( 'EGF_Font_Control' );

    Unfortunately, PHP is not in my skill-set, so I would appreciate any help you could offer me.

    I am using the Genesis theme with the standard Genesis Child theme.

    When I deactivate the plugin, I am able to access Customize.
    So, I assume there’s a conflict somewhere.

    Thanks for reading

    PS: My WP version is 3.9.3 … I haven’t updated yet, because of an issue with another plugin

    Hi Toby,
    You need to be running WordPress 4.1 to use our plugin (as our plugin uses the new customizer api), this is why you are getting the error. Cheers

    Thanks Sunny,
    I will make sure all my other plugins have updates for 4.1 if needed, and then upgrade.
