Can't access blog – receiving permission denied error

I am receiving the following error when trying to access my blog.

Warning: require(/home/kissesan/public_html/wp-includes/load.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/kissesan/public_html/wp-settings.php on line 21

Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘/home/kissesan/public_html/wp-includes/load.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php’) in /home/kissesan/public_html/wp-settings.php on line 21

This error occurred after trying to setup a subdomain. I deleted the subdomain but am still unable to access my blog or dashboard.

Can someone please help walk me through correcting this error? Do I need to install my backups and if so, will all my content be lost? And to anyone who replies: please be patient with me. I’m not a tech person.
