Fooling around with this stupid plug-in I’ve clearly messed something up. Now:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘<‘ in /home1/notation/public_html/wp-content/themes/TweetMeBlue/includes/fn-general.php on line 199

appears everytime I try to do something. I can’t view my page, don’t have access to admin and though I tried to copy and paste the original code from the file it still shows the error. How can I resolve this, if I can resolve this? Any help is much appreciated.

do you have access to the database? of ftp? the best way is to log in via ftp and go to the plugins folder and delete the folder with the plugin causing the problem.

or Disable the Plugins via the Database

i downloaded the FTP app just now, trying to figure it out. I’m assuming i’ll need to redownload the theme?

okay did u manually edit the theme and messed it up? or you install a new plugin that messed up ur blog?

I manually tried to edit. but it seems like editing through the FTP worked so I’m up and going again. Thanks for your efforts though! Lesson learned.

I had the same problem last night with my blog.

I was trying to add Google Adsense and put the code in the wrong spot and lost everything.

I couldn’t get to my blog or the admin area to fix it.

Then I decided to check here in this forum for help – and the information in here saved me.

So I want to say “Thank You Sooo Much”
    You saved the day!

    Thanks again,
    Duane
