Title says all. I downloaded two WordPress plugins, Guest blogger and W3 Total Cache, and now I can’t access anything on my admin area except the main dashboard and one other irrelevant thing. I think it’s the plugins, but I can’t access that page. WHAT DO I DO?

  • W3 Cache probably isn’t the problem, but I’d guess Guest blogger could be. Read about disabling plugins without admin access.

My host is unavailable for some reason.

It’s freehostingcloud. Is there any way I can change my host without losing anything? Also, if I can’t access my host FTP, how do I disable these plugins? I need step-by-step, because FTP is confusing.

You need to be able to either access an online control panel (like cPanel) or be able to log into FTP. Your host should give you accees to both of those.

You can switch hosts, but you need to be able to log into backup your data.

THANK YOU! This is the first time my question hasn’t been ignored, and it saved my site from dying before it ever started.
