can’t access admin login page

  • After upgrading WP User Avatar plugin into Profile Press 3.0, the plugin created many new pages automatically on my website (new login page, user profile pages, etc…). By mistake, I put the new “login” page as “draft” and now I can’t access the admin login page anymore.
    How can I reactivate this page? URL should be https://www.asiapowerwatch.com/wp-admin but I’m getting a “404: Page Not Found” message when trying to log in…
    It’s like I locked myself out of the website. Can’t access the admin dashboard anymore.

  • Use FTP or cPanel file-manager to remove problematic plugin (directory) from /wp-content/plugins/. Either /wp-content/plugins/wp-user-avatars/ or another one.
