Can't Access Admin – Couldn't resolve host 'O:8:"WP_Error"

I’m not sure why, but a few weeks ago my WordPress Admin was not accessible by going to the admin link. I had not made any updates, installs, or other changes in quite some time. Luckily, the front end is still working; I just can’t get to the Admin. I have seen the following error:

CURL (6): Couldn’t resolve host ‘O:8:”WP_Error”:2:{s:6:”errors”;a:1:{s:30:”wpdb_get_table_charset_failure”;a:1:{i:0;s:0:””;}}s:10:”error_data”;a:0:{}}’

Any idea what to do? I’m at a loss.
