• Hi there!

I recently installed the plugin really simple ssl, to get an ssl-certificate. I then changed the admin URL and home URL to https in the wordpress backend (Settings > General > Site URL). When I clicked save changes I got thrown out of the site, with no way to acces the wp-admin login page anymore. The website also looks weird. The theme doesn’t load, neither do pictures. I used the Hestia theme.

I tried numerous times to change it, but nothing worked. In cpanel > phpMyAdmin > wp-options the url’s have http in them. Changing it to https doesn’t seem to do anything. When I disable the plugin by renaming the plugins folder, only the homepage loses it’s padlock.

Maybe the stylesheet isn’t loading either?

I hope I gave enough information. Thanks for your help in advance.
