• Hi

Apparently, I can not acces my site (tpntheys.com) nor my wordpress dashboard anymore with my wifi connection (Safari cannot open the page because the server where the page is located isn’t responding). Other people can visit my site, no matter what browser or device they are using. I tried it on a mac, a smartphone and an ipad, using chrome, safari and firefox, and I can’t get to see my site. All other websites work just fine.
If I try it with a 3g connection on my phone it works normally.
My host (siteground) tells me it is a ISP problem, my ISP tells me it is a host problem…

Can anyone help me out please.

    Thank you

    Best regards

    Tom

  • Hi,

My computer was running slow so I cleared by search history through Chrome. Since then, I cannot access my website https://www.hammerheads.ae/wp-admin. I cannot access the website through, Chrome and Explorer on my PC, my phone, other computers and through my host https://www.siteground.com. I always get the message –

    This site can’t be reached
https://www.hammerheads.ae took too long to respond.
Search Google for hammerheads ae admin

I have gone through the forum and none of the answers seem to resolve my issue. There is no virus, my DNS is fine and internet works fine as well.
I can access the cache version of the website. My friend based in UK (I am based in Dubai) accessed it and it works. I am not sure what to do. Please advise how to proceed.

jassimarif3485: Please open a new thread for your issue and do not hijack existing threads. Thanks.

tpn: I can get to your site at https://tpntheys.com/, so unless you or your host is blocking your home IP, it’s a local ISP problem. Do you have any security plugins installed that might be locking you out via IP address?

Hi Thanks for the quick reply. I didn’t mean to hijack the post, i thought it was a topic to post under. My apologies.

So I figured out the problem. My host blocked my ip because of too many failed attempts to log in. While I didn’t log in to have any fail attempts, apparently it happens sometimes at the hosting site. So it’s all good. Thanks!

Had the same issue. Does seem to be a Host Provider issue. I lost access to my sites after failed login attempts. Contacting them now to see if they can remove the block.
