    Have you tried:

-deactivating all plugins. If the problem goes away, activate them individually to find the culprit?

If you don’t have access to to your admin area, try deactivating them manually via FTP or phpMyAdmin.

-switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific issue?

If you don’t have access to your admin area, then access your server via FTP or SFTP.

resetting the plugins folder via FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems?

    I’ll try.

But this never happened before. Just happened today, first time ever.

How do I deactivate plugins? o.O

Have you deactivated your plugins yet?

From the page that t-p linked:

    Via ftp

    1. navigate to the wp-contents folder (directory)
    2. rename the folder “plugins” to “plugins.hold”
    3. create new folder called “plugins”
    4. Login to your WordPress administration menus
    5. delete the empty “plugins” you previous created
    6. rename “plugins.hold” back to “plugins”

    Did not work.

I renamed the folder to plugins.hold and created a new folder called plugins. When I then tried to login to the admin panel the screen still appears white. Still can’t access the admin panel.

    Any other ideas?

can you login at all via: https://danielsandvik.net/wp-login.php ?

If not then via FTP again, change the name of the wp-content/themes/paradox/ directory to reset to the default theme and see if that helps.

I can login, but the screen is still white.

And changing to the default how?

Not to be a moron, but are you serious? xD

    He’s absolutely serious…

Renaming your current theme’s folder should activate the default theme.

it doesn’t actually matter what you rename it to, but adding something to the name is preferable. This is assuming of course that you have the twentyten theme available.

    It worked!

    Thanks guys for the help!
