Can’t accept credit cards using WooCommerce Subscription

    Hello,

    First and foremost, this PayPal plugin for Woocommerce totally rocks! I have everything setup very smoothly but there’s one problem.

    1. When using WooCommerce Subscription, why I can’t make the Pay by credit card working? It always shows the customer to enter their paypal account or create a new account.
    2. Do I really need a reference transaction enabled for it to work on WooCommerce subscription?
    3. I really want to be able to use Reference Transaction but I haven’t met the minimum turnover requirements. My account is quite old – I believe it’s more than 1 year.

    Any help would be appreciated! Thank you.

    @astrasleepz, Sorry for the delay in response, I have a few questions.

    – which gateway you are trying to use? Based on my understanding you are using Express Checkout ( EC ) , right? If so then you may need to tell PayPal API to allow credit card while using EC. We have listed steps to achieve that using our plugin here. Please reach and make sure to follow each and every step and then check again.

    – Yeah, for subscriptions you will need to enable reference transaction / billing agreement enabled on your PayPal account, Please talk to MTS support and get that setup then give it another shot.
    – Well, that is all what PayPal need to enable that option, You may need to talk to PayPal support and explain them why you need that and they may be able to give you better explanations.

    Please check those and let me know if you still have any other questions or concerns.
