Canot get past Login Screen

  • I have been looking through the posts for a few days now and have tried what I have been able to find. Before I get more frustrated I thought I would reach out for a little help…

    I have reinstalled several times, disabled all plug-ins, disabled firewall, removed WordPress plug ins, still no joy.

    I have cleared out the database tables and then reinstalled.

    Cannot get past the login screen. I know that the username and password are correct because if I put in an incorrect one it tells me. When I put in the correct username/pw it just goes back to the login screen.

    I am using 3.1 on IE 9, windows 7 computer.
    Host is IXWeb
    Uploaded zip file using web shell and then unzipped files on server.
    I can see the database has been set up (mysql) using pjpMyAdmin.
    domain is apexdataconsulting.com.

    Sorry if I missed a post that covers this but I have been looking and tried everything that I found.

    Create a ticket. This a kind of problem you need to reproduce. Provide steps to reproduce the problem there. Ask support to check error logs too. You’ll get an answer in 24 hours. Do not add more info to ticket before you get a reply, or ticket goes down the list.

    Thanks Arthur, I did as you suggested and they took care of it! The next hurtle I am dealing with is getting the home page to come up when someone goes to https://www.apexdataconsulting.com and not have to use the url https://www.apexdataconsulting.com/wordpress/. I have tried the redirect on the ixweb site but that does not do it.

    Be sure that login table is created in your Database Sql with all fields
