    Hello!

I’m glad to see you’re diving into SEO so much!

Since TSF v3.2.4, we remove canonical URLs from pages which have the robots tag set to “noindex”–unless the canonical URL points to another page.

We do this because those tags are conflicting directives, and it helps to speed up deindexing. Screaming Frog should also account for this.

By default, we apply “noindex” to paginated pages, which is what you also see in the images you shared. There’s a toggle for this on the SEO Settings page.

I hope this clears that up ?? If you find any more questionable data, feel free to ask us about it. Cheers!

    Hi,
I hop on this thread because I am also facing an issue regarding the canonical urls…

Many of my pages indicates the wrong canonical urls, like :
    https://www.awesome.site.com/course/course-01
    the canonical is :
    https://www.amazing.site.com/about

But those pages are totally different.
    >> It is worth noting that I’m using a WP multisite, so the admin dashboard manages 2 subdomains :
    https://www.awesome.site.com
    https://www.amazing.site.com

How can i correct my canonicals urls for a specific page ?

According to your previous answer, I can enable the “Noindex” option, but it is counter-effective in term of indexing and SEO !

    Thx for advice
