Canonical URLs are staging site, not production

@jritt We’re sorry for the difficulties you are experiencing with the plugin. Regarding the issue, we are aware of this bug with Yoast SEO and there is currently an issue report open with our developers. However, at this time we are unable to provide an ETA as to when this will be resolved, as currently the issue is in a queue and we can’t say how much time will be required before our developers can address the issue.

In order to correct this you would need to reset the indexable tables and then re-run the indexation on the production site. Can you please try the following:

– Install the?Yoast Test Helper plugin?
– Go to the Tools → Yoast Test → Yoast SEO and click on the “Reset indexables tables & migrations” button
?– Go to SEO → Tools and run the “Start processing and speed up your site now” function again.

Hi, I didn’t say this resolve the issue. I am still waiting for the issue fix baked into the next update of Yoast. I appreciated that you shared a temporary fix – resetting setting with a helper plugin after each push to staging and live is not on our roadmap.

@jritt According to the forum guidelines, you’ll need to open a new topic instead of replying to an existing post. That way, it’s easier to track issues and provide assistance without alerting someone else for your problems and debugging, when they don’t need it.
