    Hello @blackspiritofc,

Thanks for reaching out. I checked a few posts from your site and the canonical URL tag is completely missing, though these posts are in the post sitemap. Did you do something to remove the tag to resolve the original issue of having the homepage URL as the canonical URL for all posts?

    Hi,

Thanks for your response. Yes, we removed a permanently inserted <link> tag from the header.php That partially solves the issue.
However, now we can not see any canonical tag at all, even if we add the Full URLs under the ‘Advanced’ section in Yoast SEO for each post.

Is there a way to enable/disable canonicals within Yoast? Will be great if you can let us know of the same.

    Hi,

You asked whether it is possible to enable/disable the canonical URL since canonical tag is missing from your page source.

Can you kindly check theme conflict on your site?

Often, we see problems occur in combination with another plugin or theme. The fastest way to rule out any conflict is to deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme like Twenty Twenty-Two.

Please test this on your development or staging site if you have one. If not, we recommend using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin. This plugin has a troubleshooting mode, which does not affect normal visitors to your site.

If you’re unfamiliar with checking for conflicts, we’d like to point you to a step-by-step guide that will walk you through the process: How to check for plugin conflicts
