Canonical URL duplication when creating pages

Yes, we’re using the SEOPress plugin.

@consultants We looked at the source code of the page and the URL is the same for both canonical tags so this will not hurt SEO, but we will look into it.

@consultants I checked a regular page (non seedprod page) and I see two Canonical tags there as well:
https://tdbnow.com/2020/12/21/the-passive-income-business-anyone-can-start/

This might be an issue with SEOPress, looking into it…

Yes, you are right. I see that there now too. It wasn’t like that before, and I see that there was an update with that plugin yesterday so that could be the problem.

@consultants check with SEO press form research I’ve seen others having this issue with SEOPress and since it is occurring on non SeedProd pages then it leads me to believe the problem is originating somewhere else. I was not able to reproduce the issue in our test environment.

We’re using SEO press as well. Thanks for looking into this. I’ll get in touch with them and see what solutions they have. Thanks again.
