    I have recently relaunched my website, while in development it was on a different domain. Now the new site is live, the Yoast canonical URL is still showing as the development domain. I have tried saving permalinks, updating Yoast settings, but can’t seem to get the canonical tags to update to the real URL.

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello @fingerbib7

    Thanks for reaching out about your canonical URL. Does this happen on a specific page or post? For the homepage, the canonical URL is correct:

    <link rel="canonical" href="https://website-designer-reading.co.uk/" />

    Hello, it’s mostly the posts, as I have manually updated the pages. Is there a section of Yoast where I can reset the domain? Otherwise I’ll have to do it in the database.

    Can you please try resetting our indexables in the database tables by following the steps below? This might help update canonicals to reflect the actual domain.
    1. Install & activate the?Yoast Test Helper plugin
    2. Go to Tools > Yoast Test
    3. Hit the “Reset indexables & migrations” button.
    4. Go to SEO > Tools, and under SEO data, click the “SEO Data Optimization” button to allow Yoast to rescan your pages.
