Canonical page author

    Hello,
    my author pages display articles, so on the pagination of my blog we also find the same list of articles. I’d like to put a canonical tag on my author page?

    but I can’t figure out how to do it, I use the squirlly seo plugin.

  • Is the address in question the one in your profile here? If so, the author page already has a canonical link tag!

    If it’s a different site, please provide the site address so I can take a look.

    Yes its the website.

    How can I see this tag? By default wordpress doesn’t add canonical tags on author pages?

    How can I see this tag?

    1) Open any author archive page: eg https://www.aurama.fr/author/aurama/

    2) View the source of the page (CTRL + U in most browsers).

    3) Look up the word “canonical”.
