Canonical on Homepage does not have language info

Hey there,
we are using Qtranslate for years now and Q-X saved our bacon. Thanks for that!
Our homepage https://www.aerobis.com forwards nicely to the respective language. The problem is that the Canonical is not adjusted to reflect that. It still shows:
<link rel=”canonical” href=”https://www.aerobis.com/”>
How can I get the canonical to behave properly?
