Canonical link issue

Hi, first of all, I want to thank you for this great plugin,
I think its gono beat others very soon ??

I got only 1 problem,
my website got permalinks like – https://8vids.com

but at header, the canonicals generated from SEO Ultimate looks like this
<link rel=”canonical” href=”https://8vids.com/&#8221; />

how to remove the last “/” slash from URL?

btw. this only at homepage, the root domain,
the other posts and pages got normal canonicals urls ending without “/”
as default permalink set.
