Canonical Issue: Noindex Page

    Hi!

    I received Duplicate pages without canonical errors on ahrefs site audit. All my taxonomy pages have this issue. I actually set all my taxonomy pages to noindex and I tried to add a canonical URL to https://www.wellness-to-go.com/category/blog/eat/page/2/ without the page/2/ to see if it fixed the issue. But unluckily, not! I believe that those pages must not receive these duplicate errors anymore since the page was set already to no index.

    What happens is, when the page is set to no index the canonical tag is removed automatically. Do you have solution already for this? I use pro version 4.6.0.2

    Hi,

    we remove the canonical tag if a page is set to noindex following Google guidelines.

    Make sure to clear you cache after editing a global SEO setting.
