@qph9697 We understand that you are experiencing an issue with the Yoast SEO plugin in that some items are still showing previous location’s URL. We are aware of this issue with Yoast SEO and there is currently an issue report open with our developers.

As for resolving this, can you please try the steps below and let us know if the problem resolves?

?1) On the new site, install the Yoast Test Helper plugin?
      2) Go to the Tools → Yoast Test → Yoast SEO and click on the “Reset indexables tables & migrations” button?
      3) Go to SEO → Tools and run the “Start processing and speed up your site now” function again.

    Hi devnihil,

    Thankyou for your response.

I did what you told and everything worked like a charm.

Now I am not seeing any of my old domain links in any meta or link tags.

    Thank You again. 🙂

    But I have one question,

Since I have changed from Subfolder domain to my root domain,
Are there any changes that I must make in Yoast?

    Hi @qph9697,

Thank you for your reply. Happy to hear it’s sorted.

If you have migrated and the settings were already in place, you should not make any changes to Yoast settings. In case you are not sure, you can always go through the configuration wizard again to check if anything needs adjustments. You can do that by going to SEO → General → in the first box, there should be a link to open the wizard again.
