Canonical Header
-
I am using Yoast SEO on the newest version of WordPress. I recently migrated from an apache server to iis. Initially I was having an issue with my canonical url showing up as a shortlink within the http header response. I fixed that by disabling shortlinks with your plugin. I see that within my page’s code Yoast SEO creates a canonical tag, but this does not show up within the initial http response. Will Google see the canonical tag even though it’s not within the actual http server response? If not, is there a way to create canonical tags for my individual pages that show up in the header? I created a canonical header response with iis, but all that did was give EVERY page on my site the same canonical link within the header response. The site I run is https://www.healthextension.com
